Well in today's climate where Coronavirus has most people in the house it the best time to figure out how to use your social media to meet new people in your industry, not being in person makes networking 10x times easier in my opinion, why? Because, removing the anxiety from walking up to some to start a conversation is one of the biggest things, trying to start small talk can be very annoying and a buzz kill. Believe it or not about 50% of the population are introverts and the put on a show to stand out in a pick me society. So, the easiest way to shoot your shot per say is to do it networking on social media, it can't get you in your feelings if they don't respond immediately and you can network with as many people as you want and not be completely drained.

2. Collaborate:

Find people that are relative to what you do because this platform is used for fashion/ beauty/ hair and Imaged based professionals, people that are in any of these should be networking with one another to build working relationships that lead into the next way to market your business; referrals.

3. Ask for Referral’s

(2): to send or direct for treatment, aid, information, or decision

(3): to direct attention usually by clear and specific mention

Now with your new found friends on social media and through building your connection you want to start asking for referrals. Do you have something in your arsenal that you know will benefit someone in your network? Ask for them to send you referrals.

4. Build an Email List

- A mailing list includes your customers’ email addresses, as well as additional information about them (usually their name, though it may also contain further details).

Building an email list is crucial because it's the best way to build a relationship with potential customers in an intimate way. ... The more people you have on your mailing list, the more potential buyers see your marketing messages. We all know social media ain't loyal so we have to make sure we're connecting with our audience in more ways than one, social media will block you for sneezing wrong 🙄 so, the only real way to have control of your coin is to bank with yourself.

5. Leverage Your Community

- Use (something) to maximum advantage.

Make sure you stand for some thing that your ideal audience will fight with you and for you for. There's no since in building a community and they don't believe in the same things or have the same values as your brand that's what makes you stronger and more competitive. 

A fun way to use your audience for leverage is to invite them to tag two or three people they would like the content, everybody knows somebody and you want to use that to continue you grow to push your message and get in front of the right people.
